Quick gpu question. . .

So while perusing amazon for a new case to start my watercooling build on i noticed some cases have vertical mounts for GPUs instead of horizontal. Is there any real difference in performance or is it more of an aesthetic choice. i want to make sure that it doesnt do anything major to temps or anything like that.

It's aesthetic, but they're terrible for air cooled cards, only use a vertical mount if you're water cooling the graphics card.

even if water cooled doesnt it still affect performance in some way?

Correct, it is purely for the aesthetics.

You will only gain slightly if watercooling and overclocking.

For stock speed is relatively the same, not worth it.

It looks awesome though.

Nope. The reason why it only affects air cooled cards is because they're right up against the glass and can't get airflow for cooling. Water cooling completely bypasses that issue.

Also even if you are air cooling some cases/brackets sit the card further back so it doesnt choke them. As for what to choose when water cooling. What ever looks better both in terms of cards and tube runs
