Has anyone tried to game with a Pentium?

I haven't heard much about the "Intel Pentium G3420 Dual Core CPU". But i plan to pair this with a gtx 750 Ti and 4gb of ram for gaming at 1680 x 1050. 

This is a setup for not so graphics intensive games. can i get away with minimum 30 fps on games like grid 2, black ops 1, and tell tales walking dead.

Maybe you can get your target fps if you choose to lower down your settings.

well, the 750ti is probably too high for you then.  Though, I would suggest going for either an i3 or an AMD Athlon or something.  Just my opinion, then you can take full advantage of the 750ti.  And the 750ti can play battlefield 4 on ultra completly playable 1080p.  So I think you would have a nice gaming PC there :)

Honestly get a AMD Athlon 760k instead, faster cpu for the same if not cheaper than that pentium.

except your upgrade path is dead. Pentium allows for more upgradability if that's a concern. @FMA

Is fm2+ dead? No, but would you rather have an apu or an i5? In terms of performance, fm2+ is pretty much useless in so far as I can tell.
