hi guys , which one should i get 3080 1100$ or 2080 ti for 770$

 

i am type of play that plug and play 

i used 1440p monitor 165hz. 

i like ray tracing .

Agree with the post above, wait for better pricing when more supply comes...its a crazy time to buy a high end GPU at this time...maybe that means I should sell my 2080 for $800..

They've been trickling in stock more and more. Just have patience. MOAR FRAMEZ NAO isn't worth the stupid prices right now. I got my 5800 and 6800xt just by keeping an eye on sites, refreshing when they've historically dropped etc.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

More stock, specially of the 3080 is expected to become available in the beginning of next year. If you can wait until then that would be the best. Otherwise just keep an eye out and check the availability in all of the retailers that you know not just the big ones, as everyone will be looking there as well. Just out of curiosity what model of the 3080 are you able to get for 1100 USD?

Is Ray Tracing worth $400 when you can only see it clearly in screenshots?
