Run repair installation. That sounds like one of two possibilities. A bad update, or virus/corruption. Repair will fix it if its just Windows. If not, you may need to reinstall.

start menu, search bar, cortana, windows key and alt-tab not working. CTRL+ESC doesnt work either. cant open any apps that arent in windows run or arent pinned to my taskbar. what can i do? its not my keyboard or game mode or anything like that. just happened in the middle of a microsoft teams meeting. i alt tabbed to a browser window and went to alt tab back but it stopped working.
