This is a thread to, as the title suggests, discuss physics, or any other science (Mostly physics). Post away, but, remember to not be too technical. Well, as you go higher up, gravity gets weaker, so, yes. Brb, going to Mt. Everest with a trampoline.

No. Gravity remains almost constant throughout the whole of Earth, wherever you are. As you are still being forced downwards by gravity at 9.81m/s/s, your jump height would be the same. However in some places the gravitational pull of Earth varies ever so slightly, but this variance would not be noticed as you are only jumping a very short height.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Yes, $1 for a pack of 5.  As for the wormhole, scientist say that they are common at sizes below the plank length, the obvious problem is making them large enough to go through. It should be possible, if we harness the power of dark energy, of dark matter, or potatoes. One of those, these physics terms sound to similar in my opinion.

Hm, no I don't think it works like that...

I am sure it does, but the difference is too little to be felt at such a low altitude, so yes and no.

biology=mindfuck.  well atleast for me.  I swear its just rope learning about the billions of specialized cells and how we are made up of them and different chemical substances and enzyme-substrate complexes and chemical bonds and how they don't even know how active transport works and blah blah...  Maybe its just in my level, but i find it boring to learn.  Physics is much more practical imo, which suits me better.  Does biology get better in college and higher up in school?

And that's biology for you!  :P I just find the complexity of it interesting.

The difference is incredibly tiny, but there is less gravitational pull.
