Best GPU for new gamer

So I’m sure this is going to sound a bit dumb but I’m curious to know what’s the best GPU for a person wanting to get into pc gaming? I have to the ability and means to get a RTX 2060 super or Ti but I’m wondering if I should. I know it’s better than a gtx 1650 ti or 1660 ti but I’m wondering if it wouldn’t be better to get a cheaper one first and see if I even like pc gaming. Also I was thinking about getting a gaming laptop instead of a tower because I figure if I don’t like it then I still get something I’d use a lot plus I’m a truck driver so having a big tower wouldn’t really work. Any thoughts?

What's your CPU? It's better to pick an option based on your current hardware.

- GPU: MSI RX 570 ARMOR OC (1300mhz@1020mv core)

- HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) (WD10EZEX) (Arch Linux)

- SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 250GB (Windows 10)

- PSU: Some Rosewill 750w

- WiFi Card: TP-Link TX50E

- Monitor 1: Dell U2415 (1920x1200 60hz)

- Monitor 2: LG 22EA53 (1920x1080 60hz)

There are a lot of other questions you should ask before having an answer.

 

- What other components do you have? Specifially CPU and PSU

- At what resolution do you want to game?

- Do you have a monitor capable of going beyond 60hz?

 

What I'm saying is, if your goal is to game at 1080p@60FPS i'd recommend an entirely different card from say playing at 1440@144hz

I would advice against a gaming laptop unless you constantly move around, costs more performs less and upgrade paths are limited.
