Thoughts on the Syrp line of motion control products?

DCWalt

Long story short I need a way to film myself entirely by myself with no crew. Is Syrp worth investing in? The stuff they make seems pretty versatile and expandable but I always worry with this kind of stuff. It feels like if you don't spend 25K on a setup then it's going to be shit...

The Syrp stuff seems perfect for me in theory but is it more limited than it looks, is the software crap and is it going to fall apart on me? I can't afford to spend the money purely on the hope that it won't make a problem out of it's self or be a junk heap in a year.

everything basically. i need to be able to lay out dynamic shots with no camera op and feel as unlimited as possible by the gear. I need to be able to set it up and then let it do it's thing while i'm in front of the camera
