I recently built a pc, and want to host my own minecraft server for me and my friends. I am trying to build the best server for 5 people. the cheaper the better. My max budget is $350 including tax. The build so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ThePcBuilder3080/saved/39vpHx

What is your current build? there is a good chance you do not need to build this. Minecraft is pretty single core dependant and I would imagine your performance would get hit pretty hard by that athlon.

PC specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X overclocked to 4.3-4.4 GHz

Corsair H100i platinum

32 GB Trident Z RGB 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34

RTX 2060

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi

NZXT H510

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

2 TB WD hard drive

Corsair RM 750 Watt

ASUS ROG PG248Q

Razer Ornata Chroma

Razer Firefly

Razer Deathadder 2013

Logitech G935 Wireless

@HelpfulTechWizard  I looked at this on pcpartpicker, and it looks good. The only thing is that the power supply, I have a 450 watt in my gaming tower, I would like one at least 650 watts in my gaming rig, so if this works good with the original psu (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q7L7YJ/corsair-cx-2017-450w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-cp-9020120-na) it should be good.
