Is it on a hard drive? Is your os on the same hdd?

Basically this is a result of having slow storage. The fix is get faster storage.

What are your specs?

Cool, and we're supposed to figure this out without knowing specs, settings... etc...?

Set everything to low / see if it helps any. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

SPECS, or this post will be treated as none.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Sorry, i might have loaded the page couple seconds to soon.

But if the game is already on the Sata SSD, you might to look into some new processing horse power.
Im guessing the 2 in front of the Xeon's means you have a dual-CPU setup? Even then its only 4 cores on total, and they kinda slow (for 2020 standards) as well.

The GPU is also on the low side.

To be honest im kinda surprised that the game even starts for you... :)

the system probably can't load the textures very fast.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Not much, it's an old clunker at best. 14 year old CPUs, even with 2 it'll struggle for the most basic stuff.

lowest settings possible.

even lowering resolution might be required.

this hardware is ancient and gta is a terrible port to begin with

It actually runs basic stuff great. And the game runs great at 60fps low but the textures is the only problem

It can't even use the second one as almost all games simply can't see a second cpu. So basically it's like trying to game on your moms old office computer :P.

You are running a dual core ancient cpu (the second one is not seen by the game hence why I talk as if it doesn't exist) and a low end powerpoint gpu. Paired with an unknown amount of ram it's no surprise it's having issues

did you try setting texture quality to performance in NV control panel?

if not, try that.

Thats correct, but remember the good old pc mantra of anything can run anything if you just lower settings enough, which is true, unless this is an actual texture loading bug or something  🤷🏼

That also doesn't help it due to the odd amount of ram in it. You loose dual channel which normally doesn't matter but for a system that is barely able to even play the game it needs all the help it can get

That is true but there is a limit. This is a low end core 2 duo machine here and well you can only go so far before it no longer works

that's mostly irrelevant, set textures to "high performance" in control panel.

I'm also pretty sure there's a "view distance" setting (negative LOD bias) set it to "clamp" if it isn't already.

true I guess, but since he's already running "at 60fps" I think with some tweaking loading the textures should be possible...

Possibly it could also simply be the issue of the 710 that has happened in other games before where it's memory is just so slow (and slows down due to heat) that it can't load stuff in in time.

GTA is the only game I get with those problems
