RAM for Ryzen 5000

I see online that Corsair has RAM (LPX model) and it says it is "optimized" for Intel and Ryzen, and another RAM kit with same spects and it says optimized for Ryzen only. Does any DDR4 sticks work with Ryzen? Does it make any difference? All that marketing confusing me

Both of those kits suck though, but if you want corsair then go ahead.

ok good. Why do they suck? I'ts not for OC, just to run at advertised speed for a workstation.

in general corsair overcharges by at least 20% over other brands for the same stuff, if not more, so it's mostly just for looks

 

if all you care about is capacity, they can go as low as 145CAD

from what i understand if you go for Ryzen go for "higher speed" RAM

intel dose not care to much about speed

Ryzen likes speedy memory

if it is Ryzen 3000 go for 2 Dimms

if it is Ryzen 5000 go for 4 Dimms
