i have a tight budget of $200 and i want a 2-4tb nas is there any gas i can get for that price?

Do you need it to be plug-and-play? If not, RasPi + External HDD (or two).

plug and play is nice but i am willing to work i have been doing everything to make my old pc into a nap but 5 month and nothing so i am just going to get something

What do you mean by 5 months and nothing? Have you tried installing linux server or freenas on it? What are the specs on that old PC?

I've tried everything 4 fourms had to offer everyone said my computer is probably to old it is running an older core 2 duo absolutely nothing made it work at all so i am willing to spend money now

At 200 dollars you don't have many new options, check calgarycomputerwholesale on ebay and buy brand new hard drives to go with it.

A core 2 duo would run Linux just fine. Set up some shares and you are good to go.

i tried linux it dose not want to boot to anything at all even the original hhd when i got it it did not want to boot now that i had my night coffee i see the problem
