First time, hoping for some feedback. Around $2000 CAD range

Budget (including currency): Around the $2000 CAD range but it can go over a bit.

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Maybe future streaming, Minecraft, Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Cold War, google chrome, photoshop,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): This is my first build ever, and I'm looking to future-proof it a bit because I don't have too much money to work with at all times, I'm gonna be working my butt off for this one even. I have a list of parts, i'm just really looking for feedback and other parts i could use, i'm linking them from a Canadian store (MemoryExpress)and i'd like to keep it available in Canada, amazon and newegg are good too.

PSU: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX65812

Motherboard: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX78783

CPU (looking for recommendations and help on this one): https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX77405 or a regular 3600, either or, or maybe more.

CPU cooler: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX74278

RAM: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX75763

Storage (maybe a bit of help on this?): M.2 https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX80114, SATA III https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX63850

GPU: (looking for a bit of help on this one, any ideas are welcome): https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX78673

Thermal paste: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX78673

OS is just regular Windows 10

I'm looking for one monitor, but I might move to two in the future, really looking for any recommendations here, but probably 160 hZ+: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX00112423

also since this is my first PC, I'll need a keyboard, I have a headset already but I'll upgrade that later on. Here's my idea for a keyboard: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX81195

And just to treat myself, I'm gonna get a microphone, which is either https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX00113872 or https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX81032.

Thanks for the help, I really do appreciate it.

Photoshop says 5600 over 3700

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Overall you overspent on a lot, that build is over $2k. Personally I would really want to wait for Q1/Q2 2021, if you feel you cannot I would recommend:

Get the R5 3600 (non x), better value and buy, you really are not leaving any performance on the table. You can use the stock cooler.

Save yourself a bit ont h motherboard, the Pro MAX is still really good with regards to VRM performance.

Saving big on RAM.

Better m.2 that has dram cache and good value in terms of $/GB

GPU is good.

Better value case.

More PSU for the same $

Great value RGB fan 5-pack

Just go for IPS, a lot better visually, and 144HZ is plenty, you won't distinguish 144 to 160Hz. Still offers FreeSync.

No problem!

Use https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/ when selecting parts, shows all the vendors selling that part, and has a built in compatibility filter, and some useful sort filters as well.

but here's one thing , i'd still prefer a curved monitor, so it's hard finding anything around 27 inches and IPS without it being $500+

IMO Curved below 31" makes no sense, and doesn't always yield great visuals especially for non IPS panels. Ultimately you decision, but at 27" a curved panel won't ad an immersed feeling.

It just takes time to getting used to, like TN to IPS. Curved or not curved - same thing... just eye gymnastics.

... but I'm no expert
