£1000 Build for work mate

LukeYNWA

Hey, Back again. This time a build for someone I work with.

He's a gamer who enjoys MMO's. He's a very advanced video editor and sometimes does it for anyone of us at the company. He also want's it to be a red themed build if possible.

1. Budget & Location
£1000, London, England.

2. Aim
Gaming (MMO's) and Video Editing

3. Monitors
Needs 1 Monitor for now, But plan's to get a second later on.

4. Peripherals
Needs Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor and Windows (Preferably 8.1)

He's adamant that he want's the Cooler Master CM Storm Quick Fire TK Red LED Keyboard and Cooler Master CM Storm Havoc mouse.

Thanks.

Instead of buying 2 monitors it might be better with one 29'' for video editing so you don't have to deal with the bezels?

THis will suit nice for a workstation, and the cooler is quiet and cool, as is the GPU. The R4 will keep is dead silent, and the Motherboard will be perfect and reliable for his needs. Sorry, no color scheme. If it NEEDS to be under 1000, then get the cheapest GTX 760 from MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte or ASUS.

I budget build well. Want to learn? PM me if you want advice.

That's awesome dude, Pretty similar to the one I just built on partpicker. I just had cheaper cooler and tried my best to follow the color scheme haha.

Thank you, I'll suggest this to him immediately.

does he need cuda / open cl acceleration?

what you could do is get ud3p from gigabyte. its black so its fits the scheme. solid board its only 4 or so more pounds and it has 8+2 power phases, heatsinked, fit for overclocking.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970aud3p

i recommend this board, its black, but it still fits the build nicely.

completed build is on the next page.

With a few hundred more pounds we could then do a color scheme.
