What's the system being used for?

Thank you all. I was thinking of maybe getting a 550w PSU instead of a 650w? Or should I stay with the 650w?

Even the 550 G is a bit on the overkill side already.

Yeah, I could even go with a 450 right? Estimated wattage is 398... Hmmm...

I would keep it 550..... it will be on less stress and less hot.

450 would be fine. You could run a 780 Ti on a 450w.

@WoodenMarker @EpicGeekonFire @JK Vengeance @Shd0w2 What do you guys think about the monitor? It's 129$ while I see other monitors all at least 180$...

IMO its too small, i would go 24+ Inches. Its resolution is good and it must just be all the deals for it.

You're better off with an IPS panel http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/acer-monitor-umvh6aa003

Size depends on preference.

I know but it's so expensive. It goes to like 180$ minimum. Which blows my budget by like 60$.

You're already wasting a good deal of your budget on things that don't really help performance.

Notes:

  • There is no need for the Noctua fans.
  • A non ROG motherboard, but with similar features.
  • Quality but less expensive memory.
  • A gpu that exhausts out the back for better cooling in a small case
  • A better size psu. It is still sufficiently to large handle a gpu upgrade down the road.

Forgot to specefy I can only buy from Canada Computers. Also, why get a blower GPU if I have side vents?

Yeah but I wanted like the smallest size that can have 1080p and 60 hertz. I may be on the go with my PC.

A mate of mine has three of those 21.5" BenQ monitors, they're pretty good for the price but how often will you be on the go with your rig? Because getting a 24" monitor won't be much more of a hassle than a 21.5" if it's like once a month or less. If it doesn't fit into your budget, getting a cheaper motherboard would reduce the cost of the build by a fair bit. The Impact board is an expensive one. ASRock has some nice ITX boards and so does MSI.

You can usually price match at Canada Computers. The following build uses parts available from Canada Computers - other than the Corsair mouse and keyboard from your build. The merchant shown in the list is simply the lowest price.

I initially picked a blower style card for three reasons. It is made by a reputable, although not well known manufacturer. It is inexpensive. And, the style is typically better in smaller cases as it exhausts hot air directly out of the case, helping to keep the interior cooler. Other styles would pull air in the left opening and blow it across the board to the H100i on the other side that is exhausting air.
