I just bought components to build a pc and now I found out that my motherboard has USB 3.2 but my chase has 3.0 can I use the USB then?

My motherboard has connectors for:

 USB 3.2 Gen 1 

 USB 3.2 Gen 2 

USB 2.0 - header 

USB 3.2 Gen 1 - header

cabinet has:

USB 3.0

USB-C 3.1

3.0 is 3.2 Gen 1, they renamed it. As long as the internal USB connectors match up with each other, they are compatible.

and that is why no one likes the USB marketing department (wifi marketing is the same way.) lol
