Data usage?

Hey guys I'm currently using T-mobile with the 500mb plan and while T-mobile is going to change all that to a total 1GB this month. I was wondering do you guys think that 1GB of data is enough. Followed by the question, How much data do you guys use?

I have a 4gb per month plan. I use 4gb per month.

 

If you use a lot of internet, no it's not enough,

if you only use it once or twice a day, you should be fine...

I use like 2-3gb of data a month on LTT/9gag every month.

If you were good with 500mb then 1GB isn't a bad boost.

It depends on what you use the data for, if you go on YouTube then you'll use that in a day, if you go on Tapatalk then it will take longer.

I would recommend always using your home wireless when available (it does not use your data).  If you are out on the go, just avoid downloading larger files (or when watching youtube don't watch in HD) if you can wait until you get home.

Youtube uses a lot. If you do a lot of streaming video on 3G/4G, you can get to 1 GB quickly, especially on LTE.

I currently have unlimited data ($30 CAD a Month ) but my plan has a fair use policy which means that after I use 5GB of data they cut my data speed by about 75% which really slows it down. Personally I usually use about 4-5GB per month but as long as you don't stream videos and use WiFi whenever possible you should be able to get away with 1GB per month.

That's insane. Guess it depends what you do though, I'm not usually that glued to my phone.

 

I find 1gb is enough, but I use it mainly for eBay auctions and browsing a few websites.

The occasional Youtube video.

If you have WiFi at home and possibly at work (depending on what you do for a living) you'll be fine with 1gb.

You can always download apps that compress data.

I find it easier to just use your data based on much you have. So with 1 GB I would use mobile data sparingly.
