I have no idea why they dropped the price so much on these cards all of a sudden. Perhaps litecoin mining has died down a little?

 

Anyways it's great to see that AMD is now finally having some competition against NVIDIA cards. Hopefully this results in NVIDIA lowering their prices and more competition.

IMO Nvidia wont be lowering their prices any more. They beat AMD at the high end, but the 280x is so much more worth it over a 770.

It's an abbreviation/acronym just like Direct CU II from Asus, which means Direct Copper Contact with two heatpipes (quite a mouthful isn't it?)
