Just saw this i3 10100F for 85 dollar, the staff told me its about the same performance as ryzen 3100 but 20 dollar cheaper, in my country. intel yes?

r3 3100 is still little better but for 20 dollars less  go for that.

As i see it, non-F has double threads, but if you need it for simple tasks, most probably, you wont see any difference

?? 10100f does not have intergrated gpu, and 10100 has intergrated gpu. they have the same amount of cores, threads,  speed and cache

Note that you will need your own discrete graphics card, if you want built-in graphics buy the 10100 non-f so that you can use it withought a graphics card. And that is 114 dollars instead of 85

i already have a i5 3570 with gtx 1660 but the mobo dead, cant find any gen 3 1155 socket mobo now, thinking upgrade to this new i3, cant believe the new i3 its same performance as the old i7

well, the 10100f is good but locked, which means not overclockable, but the 300 and 3300x are overclockable

for 85 dollars hell yeah, go for it. should work well with a 1660

that is how it goes. if i was you i would just get r 3 3100/3300x and decent b450 motherboard so oyu can upgrade to ryzen 5000 later. or wait for ryzen 3 5100/5300x.
