pr 11/vxw 100 conector

Wagnerovec

Hi , i have been repairing few old transmitter stations which were just lying around at home.

I found 5 stations, enough for what we need but only 3 microphone/speakers.

The antena connection is normal caoxial but i cant find anything about the microphone/speaker connector, even on other forums and sites.

Its quite old so iam having low expactations of someone here knowing but at least i can try.

It looks suuuper proprietary, I’d imagine you’d have a hard time finding it from normal vendors like digikey or mouser. Maybe some antique radio vendors might have something? Otherwise you may have to find a donor unit.

if you think it’s not proprietary, I’m sure there’s a ton of radio forums out there with more experts on this kind of hardware.

I highly doubt its proprietary.

Its from 1970, from CSSR(Czechoslovak Socialist Republic) and from what i got from father and few other people they used what they had. (On the radio station its used to connect everything from power to battery to tape recorder all with just 2-4 pins used)

And for other forums iam still waiting for some response, most forums here are from 200X so not many people use them.

I’ve seen those in the past but not for a very long time. There used to be an electronics shop near me that specialised in this kind of stuff but sadly it closed in 2002. Is there no easy way of swapping the connector for something more attainable?

I understand that fully. I recently restored a 1930s radio and felt bad about using modern caps and some cabling but really had no other choice.
