Cant boot to stable state new ryzen build

gereatti98

Hello.

Yesterday I have built a new computer with the following parts:

Mobo: Asus strix b550-f gaming wifi

Cpu: ryzen 3900x

Ram: 32gb 3600mhz corsair vengeance rgb pro (18-22-22-42)

The situation is very weird. I can post the system with 32GB, but cant enter win 10.

Win 10 runs ok with only 8GB ram. With more than 8GB I cant boot windows, it only gets to the automatic repair and autoreboots. But not because of windows from the mobo.

To post with 32GB ram I need to set the ram voltage to 1.365 and SOC voltage to 1.1 othervise it doesnt POST. But it seems unstable, autoreboots while loading windows.

Please help, what to change in BIOS or is a component faulty?

Best regards,

Attila

try with only two sticks of ram in slots 2 and 4 and docp disabled. install windows in this way if stable, then add the rest of ram and play with docp, dram voltage and soc voltage.

I cant start windows with 2 sticks. Even without d.o.c.p it posts but crashes and reboots in boot process. I tried every frequency for 2 sticks too

Windows runs fine with 1 stick at 3200mhz, docp off.

I dont understand what is the problem

I cant find on the asus webpage a bios update for my mobo. I have a version from june 15. Can i install the non wifi version of the bios? This mobo has a wifi and a non wifi version.

Somehow i updated the bios to the latest. It works ok with 3 sticks, even at 3600mhz and docp. But it doesnt boot with 4 sticks, i get all sorts of win 10 bsod-s, error in non paged area, irql not less or equal, thread exception etc. I disabled docp and get 2133 mhz but still nothing
