Good cooler for 10700k

Hello everyone, I want to upgrade very soon to a i7 10700k and I don't know if the base intel cooler from my current cpu (i5 7400) will do the job or handle 125w. What do you guy recommend?

Stock cooler cannot handle 10700k  (  it can on base clocks)

What's your style.? Do you like air or water cooling??

I've used the BeQuiet! Dark Rock 4 (non-pro) in a few builds. It's extremely quiet, can handle overclocking and cools very well. It's not too expensive either, and I'd prefer that over a liquid cooler anytime.

I like aios more but I'm looking for something more budget friendly. @Abdullah Bhutta

if you want budget friendly then go for air coolers but if you want water cooling then consider 280mm rad or 360mm rad.

In my opinion you should go for rad because its quitter and more efficient than air cooler.

why 10700k?  New amd cpus    are avalaible in 6 days. according To Rumors They beat any intel offering.Ryzen 5 5600x beat 10900k at single core and is close to multicore. But we have to wait 6 days to see.

The mobo is aorus elite ac. The case is https://www.njoy.ro/cases/vanguard and the fans are coming with the case. I did the mistake to buy a prebuilt but it wa 2017 so its forgivable.

seems like there are some ventholes but the airflow will be still pretty bad. aio makes more sense for you.

you have to mount the rad to the fornt. that is bad for the gpu temps and for the cpu temps sicne there are not much ventilation.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

I have very good airflow. I have mesh on top and bottom. 3 Intake at the back and 3 exhaust at the front. My average temps on full load are 60-62

I'm not gonna mount the aio to the front because coil whine and what nexus gamers said about the mounting, so i'm gonna mount it to the top
