Rate my setup!

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 AF

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450-DS3H

GPU: Radeon Sapphire RX580 4GB I deeply regret this one by the way. The GTX 1060 would be a much better choice. The support for Radeon cards outside of games is outstandingly bad.

RAM: Crucial Ballistix (2x8GB) 3200Mhz CL16

PSU: FSP Hyper S 500W

SSD: Kingston 480GB (System, some games)

HDD1: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (Games)

HDD2: Seagate 500GB (Personal files)

Case: I don't even know. The cheapest I could find about 4 years ago. Ripped out half of the HDD "tray" to fit another GPU that was too long. Don't even have the side panels anymore, basically a test-bench.

Considering it's not a modular PSU you've done a good job with the cable management. I'd recommend rotating the CPU cooler to avoid any clearance issues if you decided to add more RAM and replace that PSU as soon as possible.

Thanks for the thoughts! Although I don't see why would the PSU be a problem. It doesn't have enough power? Or is it just a bad overall PSU? It's been fine for 6 years. Is it too old?

PSUs wear out, 6 years is a good run for it, but when they go, they can take out your system with it, which would suck.

Ahaa okay, thanks for the advice! I will upgrade it when I get a new GPU.

On a scale of rutabaga to desk lamp, I rate it as a blue beach ball.

What? I had to use a normal scale? 🤪

Timing is everything.

I always use that scale (or variations thereof) when someone asks for others to rate their setup.

I mean 1-10 is too boring.

Vegetables to inanimate objects is much better.

Life's too short to be normal. 🤪

I literally just had a dream about this post right before I woke up... I dreamt that I got a free PC but it was this one and it had mismatching ram sticks and was full to the brim with random hard drives >~<

the ssd and hdd can be mounted to the side of the 5.25 bay with 2 screws. (you can also buy ssd and hhd to 5.25 if you really want) if you do add fans to the back thows mesh is really restrictive it be better to cut it out and use nothing or a wire gill.

Honestly I didn't expect the community to be this nice. I thought I would get shit on for my setup, but actually everybody gave good thoughts and ideas, so thank you very much everyone! :)
