I'm trying to overclock my Alienware 13 R3 but it wont apply in Afterburner

Hello, I've been trying to overclock my alienware laptop for months now but it wont display any clocks over the stock boost speed after i apply the overclock. cooling is not an issue, i already tried disabling the integrated graphics. can anyone help? thanks.
