Ryzen Zen 3

depends on the performance uplift, maybe

but i doubt i'll upgrade my CPU for next two generations, until DDR5 is mature

currently own a 3900x, if i were to get a cpu, maybe 8 core part, and sell the 3900x

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

No.

I bought my CPU last year.

I'm not made of money and thus, have more sense than money.

I expect my Zen 2 CPU to last me at least 5 years.

Waiting for Ryzen 3 5xxx. I'm really excited. I mean the 3300X is already amazing, wonder what zen 3 Ryzen 3 has to offer.

I wouldn’t think he would. He is just a moderator, the ones that know Linus are the ones that say staff team and sorts. Normally.....

I am running a Ryzen 7 3700X until it eventually meets its maker. No reason to upgrade since my PC does what I want it to do for now. I'm sure Zen 3 will be a great option for those upgrading from older (pre 2016 PCs maybe) platforms but for anyone on Zen 2, there's no reason to really upgrade unless you like shredding cash as a hobby. In that case, be my guest!

RGB is very overrated.

Yes. I'm planning on grabbing the 5800X for my system, that frees up my 3600 for my father's system. With my brother buying my 2600, (it's already in his system) and my Dad buying my 3600, (he's struggling by with a 2200G right now) it should only be $30 for me to upgrade to the 5800X.

Meh, coming from  Zen 2 it might be a decent uplift but not worth it for me. IMO if you have zen 1 it's a great upgrade, for Zen 2 users it's a luxury if you have money to spare.

Ada is worse than Ampere which is worse than Fermi, change my mind.
