Polaroid Monitor

Vex101

So I have an old Polaroid monitor that I would like to set up as a second display, but whenever I try to connect to my PC through HDMI, it says not supported. Why does this happen and what can I do to fix it? Do I need a new monitor?

Maybe not detected by graphics card driver? Try updating them.

The weird thing is, in display settings it says I have another monitor connected, it just doesn't show anything except not supported

Try lowering the resolution of that display in Windows Display Settings. Usually if the monitor is detected but is showing a "resolution not supported" message it means your computer is trying to push a higher resolution than the monitor supports.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

I actually already tried this. It says that the default resolution for the monitor is 1280 x 800. I tried that and everything lower. Nothing worked

Is the monitor working with any other system or laptop?
