i7 9700k 5ghz high temps

My i7 is hovering between 70 and 100 degrees with a be quiet dark rock pro 4. i kept the voltages stock and just changed the clock speed. any help on how to reduce temps? would something like an nzxt kraken or corsair h100i help?

Noctua NH-D15 or a AIO would fix your problems.

What cpu? What voltage on load? What clockspeed? What case? What ambient temp?

A dark rock pro 4 is basically identical in cooling performance to a nhd15 or almost any aio.

the NH-D15 has slightly more fins and offers marginally better cooling that most likely won't fix his issue.

From my experience I started on the dark Rock pro 4 and swapped it to the NH-D15 after having heat issues maxing out at 92 degrees. Replacing it with noctua fixed it.

Likely your voltage is much higher than it needs to be. Reducing it would reduce temps. Leaving it on auto is generally not advisable. You should follow a guide like this one if you want to get into overclocking.
