Provided it won't interfere with your GFX card PCIe lanes, I'd go the PCIe card route. I've used ORICO ones before, and they're well made. Tend to be be black PCI brackets too, and some have metal casing over the components, which can look nicer if you have a side window on your case.

Do you want USB 2, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2? etc?

Thanks for the reply.
Anything 3.0 or above works for me.

Any USB 3.0 Hub from Anker or Amazon Basics should be sufficient. If you're looking for reliability or dedicated bandwidth, grab a StarTech PCIe USB card.

Almost anything from Amazon then - KKMoon do some decent budget kit, and I know they have at least one USB 3 card. Inateck too but they have red PCBs.

"Syba" have a range of options, and are very good at offering alternative chipsets on their cards. I use their SATA cards myself.

If I may suggest, I would strongly recommend THIS ONE by Anker. I have used it and have loved it. It's super simple and keeps you from opening up your case.

Most of the negative reviews on the anker ones say that they dies after ~2 months. How long have you been using yours?

for about a year and honestly loved it, now depending on the way it is being treated is the key here. I have seen them die in a month I've also seen them last forever, the thing with mine is that I don't yank from the cord, I gently pull straight up from the end of the USB. I have mine affixed to my desk so it won't move that much which allows the cords to stay that connect it.

Sorry I have another question about this USB hub. How does it handle with a lot of devices connected? I plan to have my mouse, leyboard, webcam, and headset plugged in.
