How long was your wait for the card after signing up for the queue?

They used the notification queue.

I hit notify the 1st day the card was on the site.

Too bad this is EVGA only.

Though I've used EVGA for several generations I feel like they are quite lackluster this time around, being with of the only AIB's with cards performing less than FE.

The warrenty is nice so is the customer service but not at a higher price with lower performance.

The FE is actually an AIB card this time... Not the reference PCB.

And it also depends on what actual card that is compared.

SOOOOOO:

The AIB cards that are based on the reference PCB will likely perform less than the FE card.

I never said the FE is reference.

What I meant with AIB is AIB partner, since FE is from NVIDIA isn't not an AIB partner made card.

And all the terminlogy doesn't change the fact that out of all the bigger partner names EVGA couldn't measure up this generation.

I've been a happy EVGA customer since the 500 series, but not this time, pay more get less doesn't work for me.

This makes me happy in the fact that even though I have to wait who-knows-how-long I stand a chance of actually getting one.

Not sure were you got your info from...

From what I have been seeing the 3080 and 3090 FTW3's have been the fastest cards tested so far.

From what I saw the 3080 FTW3 Ultra was the 1st ones set out.

Not sure when the rest will be however.

There are benchmarks for the FTW?

I was talking about the EVGA xc3 ultra in comparison to say the ASUS TUF.

I can't say much about the higher end of the 3080's as I believe the price premium isn't worth it when it comes to a price per frame perspective

Those are the Black Edition, they are the low end models, based on the reference PCB.

So no I wouldn't expect much.

Yeah they have been testing the heck out of the FTW3's, 3080's and 3090's current world record holders etc...

Saw the 3080 FTW3 Ultra at out of the box stock beat the other cards OCed when GN did the live stream.

The ASUS TUF was one of them...
