So I decided on getting a GT 710 to bring life in my old system, I'm gonna use Exp GDC to connect to the egpu. Which is around $10.

So any suggestions for which PSU should I buy?

P.S~ Please don't say that it's not worth it, the GT 710 has DX12 and is good way better than my intel hd Arrandale.

Thanks.

the GT710 doesn't have external power connectors, so any PSU that can run a motherboard can also run that card. especially since it's super low power.

That means I don't need a PSU?

does your old system have an old PSU already? if so, that PSU is fine.

Oof I'm on a laptop and I was wrong about the power supply thing because I used to own a desktop,

I don't have the power supply any more.

if you read his old thread, he's trying to add a dGPU to his old laptop

so the laptop is gonna be charged with regular charger, and the external GPU needs a PSU

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I guess you're just ignoring all the advice that was given in your previous thread then?

Adding an external GT 710 graphics card will NOT make your 10 year old laptop good.
