What is the best solution for 1080p gaming?  That seems to be the most popular gaming resolution, so I thought it would be a good question.  I am also wondering myself?

I use 660ti in SLI and I really want to get a single GPU solution.

For ultra settings, probably 770/780 or r9 280x/r9 290... Though if you live in USA the AMD solutions might be a bit over prized atm.

The best is 5 titan blacks 4 in sli and one for phys-x now for the price/proformance for 1080p you wanna look at anything from a R9 270 - R9 290 and from Nvidia I'd look at the 760-780

GTX760 and 770 give you the best bang for your buck and both max out almost all games at 1080p.

well the best for you right now is yours gtx 660 Ti in Sli :)

if you get like a 780 its not an upgrade in performance. more of a downgrade like @GGRigger said.

i think that you can survive very easy until next gen comes out

but he has 2 gtx 660 Ti in SLI. even if he had just one going to one gtx 770 would be stupid and not that much of an upgrade

The 760 and 660 Ti are similar in performance. That's not really an upgrade.

I'd wait for Maxwell. Every single card option available is currently a downgrade.

I agree with WoodenMarker, you have an incredible set up as is, there is no reason whatsoever to change GPUs.  Wait until Maxwells come out.  Not only will you be able to get something that is actually an upgrade(maxwell/800 series) but prices of the 700 series should come down a bit and you could pick up a 780 if you wanted to run just 1 GPU, but a 780 will provide you roughly the same performance as your current configuration.

Great, another question if I may?  Which is better to reduce screen tearing, so I will visually have a smoother gameplay at max settings?  Titan or 780ti?  Thats what matters to me, I have two 27" monitors.  I just ordered my third.
