Got a job, got a computer :)

relworPstar

I have been wanting a real gaming computer for a while, this was the starting process. Single core socket 768 3.0GHz 1mb cache.  I dont remember the motherboard, my mother has since taken this baby in and I have removed the water cooling because she cant be bothered with the work of refilling and whatnot.  This is the computer that started everything that you will see in the next few pictures and in the future postings when I add more pictures.

As time went on I found myself wanting the better stuff so I got myself a job. Here are some SEMI-finished photos, the only thing I have left to add is a corsair obsidian 900d plus the h100i I already have with sp120 fans, which I realized wont fit in my case until after i bought it...  So those pictures are soon to come, but this is the current finished build.  Once I get the CABLE MANAGEMENT set and ready, I will put the photos up of the inside.

CURRENT SPECS:

3570k

p8z77-m pro

8GB RAM (from a prebuilt computer but is fast!!)

900w/1000w peak PSU

(2) GTX 660ti SLI

SopranoRS Thermaltake case

1TB 5400RPM WD Drive

1.5TB External Seagate Drive

Windows 7 Home 64bit

qc15 headphones

c910 logitech webcam

luxeed u7 keybard with mk5 numberpad on the side

Logitech MX Revolution Mouse

(2) LG 27" monitors

NZXT Fan Controller (mine works exactly for what I need it for and works great)

NZXT Hue color controller

4 Blue LED 140mm (unknown) fans that run 2400+RPM peak. (my brother works at a factory and they had them so he got them for my birthday to replace the 120mm ones)

I guess that's it for now guys, I will post the insides when the build is finished - cable management is atrocious if you can see it through the window so Id rather not embarrass myself and Ill just save the inside photos for when I sleeve and get a new case :)

Thanks for checking it out!

I also want to thank Linus Media Group for this amazing site, anything I need to know I can find out by just asking here and its like people actually try to help, not just one reply and no one else.  This forum is truly a work of art.

Ok heres the update with the new case :) and the h100i was put in!! Yay!

Next thing I would like to have time to do is sleeve the cables and make the runs a lot shorter.

Also water-cooling with some UV liquid.

Full Story/Specs:

(2) GTX 660ti 2GB ran in SLI (OC'd to 123% and GPU +110MHz - 100% STABLE passed all tests)
3570k @ 3.6GHz edition - OC'd to 4.2GHz (100% STABLE passed all tests) - I dont want to OC to the 4.6GHz I reached just because I play competitvely.
p8z77-v pro ASUS motherboard
h100i with four fans on the radiator for maximum cooling - (2 are the h100i fans, other 2 are Corsair sp120)
Corsair 800D case (3 stock fans included)
6GB G-Skills Ram (I have 16GB of 1866MHz Ram but its not compatible if you want it - ask for price on it)
CD/DVD R/W/RW ROM drive
1 Blue LED fan
NZXT Hue LED strip (256 colors)
NZXT LCD Sentry Fan Controller (Watches the temperatures in the computer and speed of the fan per temperature)
1TB Hard drive
1.5TB External Hard Drive
Logitech c910 webcam (use for microphone also)
Luxeed u7 keyboard with MK5 numberpad
Logitech wireless MX revolution (works flawlessly in gaming)
(2) LG E2742 - 27" monitors @ 60Hz 5ms (The monitor is next to a sharpie to show its size)
Bose QC15 headphones with plantronics 7.1 surround sound adapter (HEAR THE DIFFERENCE!!)
Legit Windows 7 Home (was the version my mom had on her old computer)
And the power hungry 900W/1000W Peak PSU made by Rocketfish
I would go over all the USB ports and stuff... but trust me, it has all the ports you want plus more.

I have to agree it looks really empty you'd have been better off with a 650D... unless you plan some custom water cooling in the future...

Finally added my third monitor. yay!

I got the big case because I like how it is flat in the front so I could have my monitor sit flush.  Corsair is also the brand I needed to go with because I have the Corsair cooler.  The case has the look I want.  I am looking to get liquid cooling but I am just not ready to put it in yet, and this case will last me a long long time.  So it was a good investment even if I dont have everything I need yet.
