Think ahead is all I can say really, it's not that hard really, you'll get better at it the more systems you build.

What sort of velcro would you recommend for custom ssd installs? Like industrial and where can i find it online?

Zip ties all the way! Try to loosley route the biggest cables/ the cables that are most difficult to route to their destination, usinhg zip ties. Then do the rest of the cables with as few crossing as possible. Then pull everything tight and bundle it, cut the zip ties, which you used to route them lossley, and apply new zip ties to tighten them to various points in your case.

who cares...

Personally The best stuff for mounting SSD's in weird and awkward places, is clear 3M #4010 double sided tape http://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-1-in-x-60-in-Clear-Mounting-Tape-4010/202258919 , a little piece of this tape goes along way, it is made with silicone and does not leave any sticky residue when you take it off. I have used this tape for many things include PC modding for about 9 years and it is the best stuff I have found by far.

Tie the cable together an try to get them as tight you can. You can also coat them with something to make them blend with the case.

Zip ties everywhere. and i thought of it as if the wires were roads or rail road tracks, make them nice and dont over lap unless 100% necessary. Also work with what you have and use your case to your advantage.

I think it really depends on the case you are working with also. Some cases make cable management a hell of a lot easier than others.
