1440p 144hz fits in your budget easily. dell has a new monitor in that range, the S2721DGF. has one of the best panels on the market, shared with the nano IPS panels from LG (the dell isnt "nano IPS" but that doesnt matter). was on sale for like 350 or so a few weeks ago, great deal and people rave about that panel. i'd have gotten that if i didnt recently get a great deal on an acer xb271hu off of this site's classifieds. that's also a fine panel, though its an older model with a proper g sync module and wouldnt work with the 5700xt for adaptivve sync. ultrawides may fit in your budget too if you fancy that.

There's a pinned post at the top of this forum that could be pretty helpful.

The short version is that if you want an empirically tested monitor, you have to go to a dedicated review site such as https://www.rtings.com/.  Anything else you find will just be someone's subjective opinion which you may or may not agree with.

If you peruse the site, you might find something like this rollup of good 1440p monitors.  Chances are you will not be disappointed with any of their picks.

So which ultrawide monitor and normal monitor would you advice for my budget?

Not sure what could be bad about it.  FreeSync/G-Sync have worked great for me -- basically eliminating screen tearing.  If you don't like it, you can turn it off, too.

normal sized: the Dell S2721DGF, solid panel and all around great. my first choice without a doubt.

ultrawide: AOC CU34G2X/BK is probably the best option that fits in your price range, i dont think any ips 144hz ultrawides are out there for comparable prices. its VA which means good contrast but more ghosting. might be noticeable to you, might not. youll have to decide for yourself if you mind it. theres adaptive sync issues with nvidia cards as expected from most of these "gsync compatible" monitors, a bit of tweaking in CRU can almost always fix that. should be perfectly fine with a 5700xt.

Samsung C32HG70 (or 27" model)

ASUS TUF VG27AQ

Samsung has problems with dark transition times resulting in ghosting in dark scenes. Otherwise it's pretty solid monitor.

Asus is overall good pick if you don't mind the low contrast and worse black uniformity.

You can also see if these two fit in your budget, they should go for 500-550€.

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/aorus-fi27q

And here are two suggestions for around 400€. Pixio might not available in your country though.

And if you still cannot decide what to buy, here's a table tool to help you narrow down your selection. You can add more filters from the add column button.

Best is subjective as the Asus, LG 850 and Gigabyte all have small differences. So it really depends on what you are looking for in a monitor.

Pixio and LG 83a are slightly worse, but cheaper. So if budget is tight or you don't need the benefits you get with the more expensive monitors they are good picks also.

If you don't want to compare the monitors by reading, you can also use this tool Rtings provide. I don't like it personally as it removes the reviewer comments, but it can be good tool for quick comparisions or if you understand what the numbers mean.

The gigabyte has real bad black uniformity so I think I am going with the Asus or maybe the samsung but Asus has less problems.
