Touched bottom of motherboard, will it be ok or should I replace warranty

The title basically says it all, the motherboard i'm talking about is the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wi-Fi Motherboard

Mainboards should be able to be handled. How else would you put it in your case?

But maybe i'm not quite getting what is wrong. Maybe you can elaborate on this subject?

like I touched the back of it. The bit behind where the cpu is meant to go

ive put the motherboard in the case before I have everything else to save me the hassle

Seems really good if you ask me, and you have a great friend to give you a 1060. Make sure you enable XMP in your to get the rated speed of your ram. Enjoy!

If it works, you're probably fine. 

 

The general advice is to not touch exposed metal bits (pads, pins, terminals of components) with your fingers because you may be charged with static electricity and electricity can jump from your skin and go through the components and damage them. 

Components like capacitors and resistors and diodes (a lot of those little components with two terminals) don't care about ESD (static electricity) and majority of the other components on motherboards have built-in ESD protections (though they're not 100% full-proof, they can fail depending on strength of the discharge)

 

So you could damage your motherboard IF you're unlucky to be charged with static electricity AND if you're unlucky to have your fingers land about 1cm or less from a chip that has weaker or no anti-static protections AND it happens that you'd discharge yourself through that chip AND the protections fail. 

As you can see it's quite a few IFs and ANDs 

 

Generally you want to hold circuit boards by the edges or by plastic bits (slots) or by grounded metal bits (the io shield, metal housing of connectors on io shield etc) ... this way you know your fingers will not be closed to exposed metal terminals, pins etc etc.

system is fine if you ask me. fairly similar to mine.

Only worry you might have with that is the power supply. 

It is being recommended to have atleast 750 watts of powersupply.

As you didn't state that, i can't make any recommendations either.

At higher resolutions it should be a nice pair but even at lower ones it should be fine. 

Though what PSU is that exactly? Efficiency and wattage are not quality, what model?

Okay my bad. 3070 is recommended with a 650 watts powersupply. But from experience you always want to leave some overhead incase you would decide to upgade to the 3080 (whats 200 bucks?) or maybe an even more power hungry card in the future.

A decent 550w unit is more than enough. 

Wattage recommendations always overshoots. 

Wait for ampere to actually launch and check the power consumption but for the most part a 550w for the system is more than enough assuming it's a decent unit.
