zxie

Hello guy.

Specs:

RTX 2060
I5 8400
16GB

Monitor Acer KG241Qs

I have 165Hz monitor and i get 165 FPS all the time. But it feels like i'm playing on 60hz.
I turned G-sync on and off and nothing happend. also I'm connected to Display-Port.
Literally I've tried everything you can imagine and it's not working at all. I setted my frame rate to 165, I set it to High Performance, I even tried to play on Fullscreen,No scaling,Aspect Raito

Is your display set to run at 165 in the OSD or in Nvidia control panel?

Have you tried playing on a system with a known working high refresh rate monitor to see if you can feel a difference? You may just not be as sensitive to high refresh rates.

Go to the monitor setting in Windows to make sure 165hz is select. I have a friend bought 144hz monitor and he didn't realize he was running 60hz instead 144hz when he go to the monitor setting in Windows and see 60hz selected instead 144hz.

In NVIDIA Control panel, goto 'Manage 3D settings' and make sure the preferred refresh rate is set to 'Highest available'. Also: right click on your desktop > Display Settings > Advanced display settings > Display adaptor properties > Monitor, and check the monitor is actually running at 165hz.

if it's right, check your monitor's OSD, see if the refresh rate is set to 165hz

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
