I have a ASUS laptop with Windows 7 installed but now...

I have a ASUS laptop with Windows 7 installed but now it does not starts it shows 2 options 

 

1. Windows startup repair 

2.Start Windows Normally 

 

when i choose 1st one it runs some program after that  it tells me that windows could not repair this computer automatically and restarts then it displays blue screen for only 0.2-0.5 seconds........ 

 

when i choose 2nd one it  displays blue screen for only 0.2-0.5 seconds 

 

it was not dropped or something like that it was kept as it for 30-45 days before that it was working normally

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo 

RAM -4GB

GPU - CUDA 260 1GB 

HDD - 512GB

Can you boot from a linux live usb? Id check the health of the hdd, and do a memory check.

 

Do you have backups to restore? Ttry restor a known good backup.
