the question seems to be running so deep in nvidia, that any post mentioning this question gets removed by default from the nvidia reddit thread. what are they hiding?

They said exactly why in the VERY SHORT press event.

The fact that so many people missed it is... well yeah.

I would ignore the question too.

That they haven't got the stock levels to meet demand...?

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

It's not like they're obliged to nor do they have to gauge interest. These will sell like hot cakes.

I think the 3070 and 3080 will sell out fast... Not sure the 3090 will though. Good GPU and i'll be buying one myself, but $1,499 is still a lot of money for a graphics card for domestic purposes.

There are also rumours of a 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti being released in 6 months.

True. I think the 3070 and 3080 will be gone instantly, but people may need to find some time to find a buyer for their kidney to get a 3090.
