Depends on if those fans/strips come with their own controller or not.

For example, many of Corsair's products rely on their own  controllers to work for example.

Without RGB headers, yes.

The Corsair controller work by plugging into a USB 2.0 internal header.

you should mention what motherboard you have in posts like theese, as maybe someone has the same mobo and made a solution

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

I should probably list some resources to check out, see this info on Corsair's website: https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880

Not that I recommend spending close to like 100 USD on RGB peripherals.. But if you do, you might as well get some decent.

OP's motherboard is mention in their signature and profile.

It's also not relevant; as they mentioned they have no RGB headers, so no point in specifically mentioning the motherboard either way :P

well stupid people like me who forget to check their signature in the profile maybe won't know what mobo he's got.

and maybe someone who had the same mobo made a different solution that only works with that specific motherboard (very rare case and quite specific i know but you get my point, if too much info is given you can throw aside some, if too little is given you can't give a proper answer.)
