Hey there.

I bought the 3700x about a month ago, and I already dislike it.

I am not sure how this thing work and stuff, but teh issues I have, which I don't like.

1. I decided to try play Apex,  for the first 3-5 minutes, since the run, it working so slow, it stuttering so bad, i have less then 40fps.

after few minutes, it would start working properly, and the worst part, I do not see that the CPU under stress or the GPU.

2. While playing games, of any kind, but mostly CS Go , while watching movies on second monitor, the second monitor would statter.

I already updadtes MB , for latest BIOS and stuff, as well as for CPU.

So I would like to know, your thougths about it, as well as I am planing to switching from AMD back to Intel, If I get the chance to sell this  build.

I will be buying the 10700k .

YOur thought, go

Thanks. XD

I have the 3700X myself and don't have any issues that you have. I don't play Apex but your issue with CSGO is not there for me. Check hardwaremonitor while you have the stuttering, maybe some cores are failing to wake up from sleep mode. In this case deactivate any fast-boot options in Windows and BIOS.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

used to happen to me too, except i have the 2700x.

however it doesn't happen anymore since i changed out my ssd's and got an m.2 as most of the time it was when a grenade exploded or during loading screens.

which is wierd when it's partnered up with a 2080

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

I'd advise reinstalling the OS. Perhaps my problem is different but I had the same stuttering issues even when I'm not playing games on my 2700X when I first built it. I reinstalled the OS and the problem is gone, never to be seen again.

Well, I solved the issue.
It is unfortunate that I was suggested to reinstall my OS, as well as I was asked If when switched to a new CPU and MB, if I had a fresh installation.

ANy way, the issue was in the SOnic Studio 3.

When you separate the sound for the game and the movie, between headphones and speakers, you get this issue.

Not in every game, and in each case, but it does happens.

Uuh, can you elaborate?

Is the app a CPU power hog or something?

Nop, it has nothing to do with the cpu, it is just creat some sort of issue. I am not a profesional to find properly the issue, but I know for sure it is the Sonic studio. I tested it.
