Removing the heatsink from the ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD

Hey All

Is there a safe way to remove the heatsink from the ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD?

My new motherboard comes with covers for the ssd slots so I don't need the heat sink any more.

This is the drive, it comes with the heatsink separately and it is attached with double sided tape.

It's basically a sticker so you can peel it off.
