Choosing a new router

Hi, I have in my apartment an HG8245H, which is a fiber modem with integrated wifi. Today in the pandemic, with so many people near my apartment using their devices, I realized that with the wifi analyzer(app), I saw that there is a lot of interference and I think it's a big problem for me, but that's not all, because my room is on the opposite side of the apartment. The wifi signal is very weak, probably because of the only two 2 dBi antennas of the modem

 

as I was searching for a dedicated router I found the model RT-AC59U from ASUS

 

Because I dont have much knolege in internet hardware i was hoping that some of you guys could tell me if it is a good choice or there's a better one in the price range of the asus?
