Best keyboard under 200 euros

Hi guys, I was looking to buy a new mechanical keyboard (preferably a tactile or linear and 60/65%) to game and type on. I already found a couple but I don't know if they are the best. The drop alt and apex pro/corsair k95. What are your opinion on these and what is the best keyboard under 200 euros? Thanks in advance!1!

I have a Corsair K68 Gaming RGB and it works great for what I'm doing.  So I would recommend something Corsair.

None of them are 60/65%. Do you even know what you are talking about?
Ignore both posts above, they are bad suggestions.

Out of the ones you have listed, the Drop Alt is a clear winner. It’s quite expensive for what it does though, and a cheaper board like a GMMK would be almost equal for cheaper.

Are you ok with going custom?

Nah not really, I have 0 experience with it and how to do it. I just want to get a good keyboard that sounds and works great with some rgb ofcourse!

edit: and the gmmk does not have the arrows keys so yeah.

I’d then go for a GMMK Compact, it should be around €120 and comes with nearly any type of switch, and has RGB. If you want to max out the budget, get a set of PBT keycaps in a nice colour and really customise your board.

Okay but I still have one question. What is the difference between halo true and halo clear switches?

Pretty much just spring weight iirc.

Those are for the Drop Board, right?

Halo Trues are tactile switches, with a 54g actuation force.

Halo Clears are also tactile, however have a 52g actuation force.

So there is no difference?

Slight difference, nothing you would actually notice unless you have tried hundreds of switches.

I really don't know about those two switches so I'm asking ...

Are the stems on those two switches shaped the same ?

Actuation point and total throw ?

What about the housing ?

2g difference in actuation force seems really small to bother making 2 complete different switches ... I should do more research about those cause now I'm just really curious for no real reason.

I support the gmmk idea.  Really good imo and it allows you to change the switches if you ever want to or if you need to replace one cause of failure and such.

You could try to find something like that too even tho not all of them has rgb... it's just to give you a general idea of what actually exist as layout option.

So the bottom out force and the spring force seems to the the major difference between those two switches.   Thanx @ gloop

Logitech G815 is not a bad choice for said money. Comes in all 3 key type variants. I still dislike its cheap rubber additional keys tho. Keychron also has some good options. Both have low profile mechanical keys if you're into that. I know I was though I ended up getting regular tall ones in the end (Blue mechanical optical ones, which are stupid loud but less annoying than I thought when you get used to it).
