Can I RMA ASUS ROG gpu without ESD bag?

Just had my first computer hardware failure ever, gpu let out the magic smoke for seemingly no reason, I don't have the original ESD bag that came with it, do I need that or will ASUS deny the warranty claim?

i would either point my finger at the GPU or the PSU for this

as for your question, if you're sending it directly to them, they might require one

ask them for clarification

if you're RMA-ing thru retailer, they'll provide you with one afaik

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

afaik asus policy in rma

if you have the box, they give you the box

if you lack a part, they will take away same part of rma product

PSU is a month old corsair RM850, there's a a spot on the GPU that looks and smells burnt, unless the power through the PSU is unstable there should be no reason for that to have caused the issue. Computer still runs off of integrated graphics fine.

Yes, you have to ship it in ESD bag and for this you can use other component bag.
