New Build and New Desk

kolchinsky

spacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngspacer.pngI started the build in April, everything was working great! Then came along a bad PSU that took out my CPU/Graphics card.... Still waiting on RMA's on those.

Build Specs:

AMD Ryzen 1600 AF

16gb GeIL SUPER LUCE RGB 3200mhz

256gb Silicon Power M.2

Gigabyte B450 DS3H

Asus Radeon RX580 Strix 8gb

EVGA 500watt W1

5x upHere cheap RGB fans on amazon

Acer - 23.8" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor 75hz

Case - MX340 Couger w/ Front Panel removed.

Currently system is just using a Ryzen 3200g while waiting on RMA's.

Just a budget build for playing some basic games, Dota 2 and some FPS's.

The Desk is built from an old door that I replaced in the house:

Busted out the middle vent things...not sure what they are called haha! Put it some scrap wood from an old dresser, built base with 2x4's, sanded, stained and lacquered. Built some simple shelves with matching stain/lacquer.

That desk is really cool, turned out great for being an old door. I hope you get your RMAs back soon, RMAs have been taking forever with the pandemic.

I am in the middle of cutting a new desktop and adding a riser for mine.

I have to stain and poly it as well.

As long as you don't plan to abuse it much, I would suggest lacquer over poly. I think it's easier to work with and much faster to dry.
