Should I get a B-Stock PSU?

nathanyule

I was scrolling EVGA's Midweek sale when I stumbled upon a 750 watt bronze PSU by EVGA. (https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=110-BQ-0750-RX

I never had an EVGA product before, let alone a slightly refurbished one. Is it safe to get a refurbished power supply, even with the one year warranty and the reputation (made by other people) of being reliable?

EVGA B-stock products are the same as normal products, but with aesthetic damage and a shorter warranty. If you want the warranty grab a new unit, but the B-stock should be the same as a new unit. Possibly even more likely to be reliable since it was re-tested.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

B-Stock is fine. I have an EVGA PSU in my system and have had had no problems with it so far but others have reported issues with them so see if you can't find a review for you specific model.
