Corsair Void RGB Elite

Exploding Water

Does anyone know how to fix static noises on this headset? I've started to hear static on my right side and I've restarted icue, reinstalled and nothing worked.

probably a dying USB DAC chip. Have you tried to use 3.5mm if possible? I'd recommend getting some pair of headphones with an antlion modmic uni. Better audio quality and less rgb.

PM or DM me if you have any questions about audio.

You might be even better off using 3.5mm since you don't really want the RGB in the first place. You want to use realtek instead. They've got built in surround if you are worried about that as well.

Is 3.5mm really that much better?  I have been using USB-based wireless headsets for years.

Well, using a decent built in DAC in your mobo which is the 3.5mm jack then yes it will be better definitely. USB headphones often suck because of bad implementation or bad quality DACS. So try it out.

I haven't had any complaints thus far.  Actually using the same headset as OP.

Oh ok. Anyways. You will be able to hear a difference between a good pair of headphones that are not "gaming" and a gaming headset. it is just a marketing trick. It is kinda stupid. Research more into studio headphones and that kind of stuff and you will understand what I mean :) I hope I could help a bit anyways.

Apparently muting the headset microphone in sound control panel > sound > headset > levels fixes the annoying static sound
