Laptop using integrated graphics instead of my RTX 2060 Super

What's up forum, as the title states, my laptop is defaulting to using it's integrated graphics. It just started to do this out of nowhere after turning on my laptop. The GPU is being detected but not used. I tried alot of the stuff i already found on google to no avail. Reinstalling my NVIDIA drivers, disabling the integrated graphics (albeit only in the windows settings, not in my BIOS. too afraid to try that until i make sure it won't mess everything up and i don't trust youtube gurus to that extent.), you name it.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Usually it's a bios setting, but I've only had experience with desktops.

Is it all the time or only in windows while browsing etc? Sometimes there are power management options regarding igpu vs discreet.

NVIDIA Optimus is in action.

Go to the NVIDIA Control Panel, and set up high-performance applications. Select your games in the menus.

It's to save battery life.

It's happening across windows and games. My GPU no longer shows up in the display options like it did before. I only see it under my display adapters. But it's not actually being used.

Nvidia Control Panel. It won't be in your BIOS.
