How to remove mouse feet without damaging it?

Newblesse Obblige

I going to disassemble my G102 so i can fix the double click issue. It seems they said that the screws are hidden under 2 mouse feets. How can I remove those without ruining it?

pretty sure you have to replace the feet as well, i dont think the adhesive is designed to be used multiple times.

It would be best to replace the adhesive afterwards but definitely use a heat gun on low or hairdryer to warm the glue when removing.

if you remove the legs and you wanted to put it back the glue will not get sticky anymore. You still needed to add a glue to put the legs back

you can use a glue gun or a super glue, just gave it a little bit like a single drop. If you put too much it will rise the legs a bit or maybe they wil not perfectly level.

Dont use glue for papers it wont stick

I would recommend to use something like 467MP or 468MP which is just an adhesive glue on a roll or sheet, unlike double sided tape there is no film. You will want to remove all the old adhesive before applying to ensure it sits flat and even.

Can tell you it depends.

Most important use heat, be gentile and store them in a box to protect if from dust and oil.

Microsoft mobile mouse 4000 after 5 years: no success

roccat kova, 2 years old: works

multiple roccat keyboards approx. 2-4 years: works

Yikes, I don't have any luck.
