Mouse stuttering in Fortnite?

Recently I've been playing Fortnite, and I've been getting weird stutters on my mouse. When i alt+tab to a chrome window, the stutters are gone. my fps is normal, and everything else is smoth. my mouse is this one.

Ive never noticed stutters in any other games. The stutters are about 30-45 mins through gameplay.

Well, fortnite is a worthless piece of crap at this point (programming wise) it has more bugs than lines of code, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they use BASIC or scratch...

I'm not saying the game is bad (I play it myself) but fortnite is programmed like complete crap, it's likely the problem is with the game and not your computer, infact fortnite stutters like ass on my PC, on all my PCs

I should mention thats its mouse spesific. I switch mouses and its fine.

yes, the 3000G is AM4, it's compatible with A320, B350, B450 and X470 chipsets

yes, the 3100x is a pretty good CPU, if you do gaming only you don't need much more.

I would also suggest something like an RX 570 or a GTX 1650 Super

My system is probably getting a 3100x/3300x depending on deals i can get. After RTX 3000 i may get a 1080/1080ti. RX480 isnt hitting 720p epic on most games. i want 1080 high/epic.

I have a GTX 1660 and I get ~100 FPS all epyc 1080p, the RX580 is a bit slower at ~80 FPS (my friend has one and we did some benchmarks).

As of other games I get 120 FPS at max in basically everything, for 1080p you don't really need more.

The GTX 1080 is a really good card if you can find a decend deal (used they can get as low as 200)

im hoping for the used market to go down when 3000 launches. people with 1000s will upgrade to 2000 (hopefully) and used 1000s will be every where, but EVERYTHING is up in the air rn.

Have the same or a very similiar mouse, its just the mouse itself is crap. Mine freezes up all the time when playing OW.

Do you think the sensor overheats? Ive noticed that my palms sweat more in fortnite after playing for an hour, than something like minecraft.

It's a laser sensor. It simply can not keep up with the inputs at whatever DPI it is at and that's why you have the stuttering in games. You can get a solid mouse like the G102/G203 or Viper Mini on the cheap, though with the Viper you'll have to do the tape mod with it.

I can't help you solve what can't be solved due to your mouse using a laser sensor. There's a reason why all proper gaming mice use optical sensors and not lasers.

Can't find any info on what optical sensor it actually is. Perhaps I should have corrected myself and say that all proper gaming mice have GOOD optical sensors.

buttons dont determine what type of mouse it is, what he was trying to say was there is a reason on why gaming mice have good optical sensors that are meant to track accurately, but yours is a standard office mouse that doesnt have such luxury.

I never said your mouse was a gaming mouse. I said that if you don't want the stuttering due to the sensor not being able to keep up, then you need to get a proper mouse that was designed for gaming. Gaming on an office mouse is fine if you're just playing things casually but I doubt that is your use case.

Spesificaly on games like fortnite though, dome of the stock settings have like "Mouse button 5"
