Is Cooler Master MWE 650w gold full modular a good unit?

Hello Folks!

I want to change my cheap psu with a good one for my system. I have a r3 3300X and a Gtx1660 super. After good search I think my only option is Cooler Master Mwe 650 Gold, but I found dozens of 1 star reviews on amazon, most of them claimed that the psu failed after some time. Any thoughts? Should I buy it?

I live in Algeria so options are limited.

I was just worried if the CM unit will fail or have some out of the box problems, since in my country no warranty or rma is available.

I was going for the bronze mwe v2 then because of the bad reviews on the gold one, I skipped it entirely.

Of those three, the mwe gold is the best. From what I’ve heard, it is very high quality.

Customer reviews mean nothing. The PSU is great. Though 650w is way over kill. A 550w will be more than enough.

7. Cooler Master Mwe white 650W= 106$
8. Gigabyte B700H : Psu 700W 80+ Bronze = 115$
9. Thermaltake Smart BX1 RGB 550W = 115$
10. Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 700 = 118$
11. RAIDMAX 535W BRONZE SEMI MODULAR = 83$
12. CORSAIR CV550 80PLUS BRONZE = 110$
13. FSP HYDRO PRO 600W - BRONZE = 110$
14. RAIDMAX 735W BRONZE THUNDER RGB = 118$
15. FSP RAIDER S550 550W 80PLUS SILVER = 120$

Assuming it's the v2 it's decent but the gold is a lot better.

I'm not familiar with these sadly. But the mwe gold. If you can only get the 650w, it'll be more than enough.
